About usFor 45 years, CCIS' mission has been to effectively partner with the community to empower immigrants and refugees to successfully resettle and integrate. CCIS ensures that our services respond to the needs of the diverse communities that we serve. Combined with our volunteer collective, CCIS represents almost every cultural, religious, and linguistic background observed in the changing makeup of our city.
CCIS established a fee-for-service Interpretation and Translation Program to increase language access across our community.
By providing professional interpretation to public, private and non-governmental agencies, we ensure that immigrants and refugees with limited English are able to access services in their first language — at the doctor's office, in court, and everywhere it matters.
